Dear Friends, Followers, and Supporters!
We present to you our integrated annual report for the Financial Year 2022. This year’s report includes the basics: our mission, vision, a map of the areas where we work, field experiences, statistics, and the financial data from the Fiscal Year 2022.
It gives us immense pleasure as we announce that in 2022, Miles2Smile was able to bring a significant impact in the lives of more than 4,500 individuals across six different states – Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Gujarat; with its ambitious vision of providing education, healthcare, relief, and sheltering in the places, where it was most challenging.
The foundation has also been instrumental in creating sustainable solutions by enabling hundreds of individuals to become self-sufficient.
Additionally, taking impetus from its previous work, Miles2Smile articulated and highlighted the Rohingya refugee issue this year by celebrating Dignity Day and encouraging the Rohingyas to participate actively in change.
Miles2Smile understands the complexity of the Rohingya crisis and how the different understandings of the term “Rohingya” and incomplete historical records of their belonging contribute to this biggest humanitarian crisis.
Miles2Smile operates three educational centres and 2 Madarsas for the young Rohingya generation to protect them from oppression and abuse. Here is a list:
- Fatima-al-Fihri learning centre
- Kulsum Sayani learning centre
- Fatima Sheikh learning centre
- Madarsa Taleem-ul-Quran
- Madarsa Imam-ul-Bukhari
“We are at the precipice of a paradigm shift where we will dedicate our ideas, invention, will, and spirit to excel in our service to humanity”.

This year, we further emphasized the expansion of education among children of communal violence victims & children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds; under the initiative, ‘SHAAGIRD,’ which serves around 2000 underprivileged children with quality education through collaborations with about a dozen schools and five educational centres that are run and managed by the foundation itself.
In addition, this year, we also deliberated our efforts towards empowering women through life-skills training, talent development, and awareness-raising workshops under our comprehensive project ‘Taharat’.
Through it all, we learned many powerful stories of resilience and change from our beneficiaries, as they have been the focus of everything we have done and every decision we have made.
We are extremely delighted to share this year’s outcome report with you, as it would not have been possible without your kind assistance. We want to thank you for your unwavering support and trust in us.
