On April 11, nearly ninety students gathered in the halls of Miles2Smile’s Savitribai Phule Centre of learning to celebrate the completion of a basic computer course at a facilitation ceremony. The event was attended by Chief Guest Adv. Zehra Saman, Guest of Honor Dr. Ramsa Jaan, Special Guest Samreen, and the Founder and Director of Miles2Smile, Aasif Mujtaba.

From the front of the hall, the scene was astonishing with rows of students seated on a black-and-red carpet, some with heads covered in scarves of different hues, others with neatly braided hair or caps, all waiting eagerly for their turn. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive. Bright banners reading “Welcome to the Certificate Distribution Ceremony,” adorned with colorful handmade flowers and flanked by balloons, reflected the excitement that filled the space.
“Thank you to everyone for coming here,” a sentence enunciated by Shaziya, computer educator, Savitribai Phule Center of learning, marked the beginning of the events, bringing a huge round of applause. To formally begin, she invited a student, Saiba, to recite verses from the Quran.

The recitation infused the hall with a sense of serenity; each word seemed to bring calm and warmth. Following the qirat, the guests were honored with mementos in recognition of their presence and support.
The ceremony then moved to its central moment—the distribution of certificates. One by one, students stepped forward, their achievements acknowledged amid cheers and applause.
“The classes were extremely good; I loved attending them,” said Shaiba, who maintained full attendance throughout the program.
“Each class taught me something new and exciting,” Bhumika added.

For Hira, the journey had been transformative. She spoke of how the course introduced her to tools like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, igniting a newfound interest in technology. “I didn’t even know how to hold a mouse before. Now I can operate a computer,” she said, with both amazement and confidence.
She also credited her teacher, saying, “Ma’am Shaziya guides us like an elder sister—with patience and care.” Enrolling in the center, a decision encouraged by her sister, has been a source of happiness to her. .
Similarly, Fiza shared that joining the Savitribai Phule Center of Learning, on a friend’s recommendation, had opened new doors for her, nurturing a deeper inclination toward advanced computer learning.

After the certificates were distributed, Chief Guest Adv. Zehra Saman addressed the gathering. She through her words carried both conviction and encouragement. Emphasising the importance of decision-making, she urged the students to have the courage to choose their paths and remain steadfast in their pursuits.
“You all should have the courage to make your decisions. If that decision is right, then stay firm on it and move ahead; achieve things in life and work hard,” she said.

Saman also shared her personal journey, which resonated deeply with the audience and was met with enthusiastic applause.
The formal proceedings gradually gave way to a lively photo session. Students lined up eagerly, capturing moments with their certificates, teachers, and guests. Laughter and excitement filled the hall as each click of the camera preserved memories of their achievement.
The event concluded on a cheerful note with refreshments being distributed among the students. The hall met with giggles and conversations as the participants celebrated not just the completion of a course but the beginning of new possibilities.
