Miles2Smile is pleased to announce its annual report for the Fiscal year 2023. This comprehensive report highlights the organisation’s commendable achievements in the year 2023.
Our organisation believes in transparency and in making connections where trust is the main ingredient in order to form the future we, the pacifists, foresee. To achieve this connection, we present to you our humble work that we have accomplished through your trust in our commitments. We are happy to announce that in 2023 we were able to cover 30289 Miles and restore 10213 smiles. The report gives details about the Foundation’s multifaceted approach to social change. The key highlights include our mission, vision, impact, relief and rehabilitation, education, skill development, women empowerment, health care, our projects, our smile stories, and what sets us apart.
Our achievement sheds light on our exemplary commitment towards women’s empowerment through our project Sabaat. It has helped 20 resilient women to stand on greater pedestal in 2023.
Our commitment highlights our work towards preserving Arabic-Urdu art and calligraphy through our Project Khattati. We are delighted to announce that our project was able to reach the Rekhta Foundation. By designing, painting, and selling stunning works of Arabic calligraphy, Miles2Smile raised donations and funded them for our marginalised students.
The past year has witnessed tremendous growth in our educational initiatives, including Sunrise Public School, Madarsa Miftahul Quran, Fatima al Fihri, Smart India School, and Smile International School.
Sunrise Public School: We have imparted quality education to 400 talented students.
Madarsa Miftahul Quran: It provided education and shelter to 72 students.
Fatima al Fihri: We were able to give essential pre-primary education to 50 kids in 2023.
Smart India School: We imparted knowledge to 20 brilliant students.
In addition to this, Ramadan, the month of generosity, served as a backdrop for our commitments to uplift the lives of the needy. We distributed Iftar, Suhoor, Ration Clothes, and Eidi to marginalised families.
To reach new heights in health care, we were committed to establishing a health care centre in Nuh, where affordable, free diagnostic services could be provided to the people. The construction is underway, and we aim to complete and integrate it in 2024.
Through it all, we learned many powerful stories of resilience and change and are determined to continue to create an indelible impact on the lives of marginalised people. We are committed to burgeoning our efforts and dedicating and travelling miles to bring extra smiles.
We thank all our supporters and volunteers for their unwavering support; without their kindness and dedication, it would not have been possible for us to create a change.
Thank you!
