Miles2Smile is happy to announce its Ramadan Ration Kit Distribution for the year 2026, an initiative that aims to provide essential food items to some of the most distraught members of the community. The distribution aims to provide nutritious food to widows who have lost their husbands due to mob lynching or communal violence, orphans who have lost their parents in similar tragedies, families who have survived targetted demolitions, refugees, and the families of people who are wrongfully incarcerated. Through this initiative we aim to help 242 people.
At Miles2Smile, we believe in offering long-lasting help that is filled with love and warmth. Our goal is not only to provide immediate relief but to build a sense of belonging. This is why, in addition to distributing ration kits, we organize iftar and suhoor meals for orphans and children at our various learning centers throughout the month of Ramadan. This effort creates a strong bond of unity among the children and helps instill a sense of belonging.
This year, through the support of the contributors and supporters, Miles2SMile yet again created a Ramadan Box, a box of rhema. The box engulfed the family in love and warmth, wrapped in mercy and belonging. The box consisted of nutrients and items necessary for a family to have a healthy meal.
“We are happy that every year Miles2Smile helps us pass the month of Ramadan with relief,” a family said.
“The box is a bundle of happiness, it has everything we wanted,” another family added.
“After my father passed away, everything changed. Miles2Smile makes sure we don’t feel alone during Ramadan,” a student from our learning institute said.
“This initiative is our small effort to reduce the burden on families who have already suffered loss. When we deliver a Ramadan box, we deliver hope for the month.” Aasif Mujtaba, Founder & Director, Miles2Smile said.
While the Ramadan ration distribution drive is an essential part of our work, we cannot do it alone. We are grateful to our generous contributors and supporters who make this initiative possible year after year.
As we look to the future, Miles2Smile remains committed to supporting those in need, not just during Ramadan, but throughout the year. Our mission extends beyond merely providing food—our goal is to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and offer hope where it is needed most.
