It all started with young students coming together in presenting a spate of astonishing performances, which marked the highlight of the annual day of Miles2Smile’s Sunrise Public School on 31st March, 2026. The event began with a soulful kirat (recitation of the Quran) by a student of Sunrise Public School, filling the ground with positivism, warming hearts, and soothing souls.

Moving further, one by one, events were announced by Ms. Gulnaz, educator, Sunrise Public School, each event adding a layer of enthusiasm to the event.
The first event to take place was English speeches by young girls Aafia and Rafiya. The well-articulated girls instill pride in the audience. Each word spoken by them pierced through the hall and reached the minds of the audience, creating an impact that seemed to last longer than the event.
Emotions ran high among the audience as the English speeches were followed by Urdu Nazams. The words of Namaz echoed through the hall and caught the undivided attention of Urdu aficionados. Hall rose to rounds of applause as it concluded, bringing an ear-to-ear smile on the faces of students who participated.
“My performance made me confident and gave me unbridled happiness. I was nervous when I decided to take part in Nazam, but the practices and the final events made me believe in myself,” said one of the participants of the event.
“I enjoyed every bit of it, be it practices or the final event,” another participant added.

But what grabbed the attention and smiles of everyone was the performance of one of our youngest participants, the students of grade LKG.
Small in age but big in talent, they performed Naath–Maa Baap ki khidmat. The voice brought tears to the eyes of their parents. The melodious voices melted everyone’s heart.
The charming nursery students also participated in the event, leaving the audience in sheer admiration. Dressed in colorful frocks with their infectious smiles, they captured the eyes of everyone in the hall. Their dance, “pretty little baby,” further enhanced their adorable persona.
“My little boy performed with so much confidence and charm that it made my day. I cannot describe the happiness I feel,” said the mother of a nursery student.
The energetic atmosphere was continued by the dance performance of grade 1st students. Their performance on “Jhoom barabar Jhoom” made the audience tap.
Furthermore, laughter and giggles were noted as the students of grade UKG performed the song “Babu sehat ke lie tu to hanikarak hai.”
The performance of “Waqat Badal Denge…” by second-grade students was yet another remarkable display that captivated the audience, leaving them spellbound. The energetic students executed their moves flawlessly.

After a while, an award distribution ceremony was conducted to facilitate the rank holders of various grades. This motivated the students to work harder in coming academic sessions.
Moving towards the ending of the function, Mr. Aasif Mujtaba, Founder and Director, Miles2Smile, delivered an inspirational speech, acknowledging the efforts of students, appreciating their performance, and thanking the educators of Sunrise Public School for their hard work in training the students.

“The event was incredible, well-planned, and well-conducted. My heart feels content to see how every time, teachers with dedication bring out the best in the students and how the students of Sunrise Public School not only excel academically but also in extra curriculum activities as well,” he said.
