The Miles2Smile Foundation successfully organized a free medical camp in Mehrauli, Delhi, offering vital healthcare support to the madrassa children. More than 150 of them received medical check-ups, treatment, and professional advice during the camp, which was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Asif and Mohd Danish, Project Director- Health, Miles2Smile.

The Miles2Smile Foundation aims to improve overall societal well-being through its medical camps, driven by the belief that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right for all. The organization is committed to ensuring that comprehensive medical services reach people.
The event started with the speech of Mohd. Danish, Project Director-Health, Miles2Smile. Focusing on the awareness of health and well-being, he said, ”This initiative is not just about providing healthcare services—it’s about reaffirming our shared commitment to the dignity, health, and well-being of every individual in this community. Unfortunately, many people often go without the medical attention they need simply because it is not available to them. That is why camps like this are so vital. They help bridge the gap between those in need and the healthcare they deserve.”
“This camp aims not only to provide medical attention but also to raise awareness about health and hygiene, prevention of illness, and the importance of regular check-ups,” he added.
Following this, a fun activity was conducted to make the children welcomed and loved, various games were organized. The intention of the game was also to check the physical health of the children for better treatment.
“I have never had so much fun in my entire life; this was such a great day,” said a group of children in chorus with excited tones.

Soon, a long queue formed for the health check-ups. Each child was examined thoroughly and provided treatment based on their specific needs. Common ailments identified included flu, eye infections, and mild fever.

“I’m glad I received a proper check-up and was treated with such kindness and care. I’ll make sure to take my medicines on time and look after my health.” said Aarif, a child from the madrassa.
“I had been feeling a bit tired for the past few days, and I’m really glad to have received the medicines now.” said Mohammad, another kid from the madrassa.

As the event drew to a close, the Miles2Smile Foundation delighted the children with a surprise takeaway kit. The kit included basic essentials along with a few healthy snacks, thoughtfully packed to bring a smile to their faces.
